Is this you?

You are good at what you do.
You are ready for what comes next.

This programme is for professionals at a career inflection point — people who have built real depth of experience and are now ready to grow deliberately into a bigger role, a new direction or a more senior level of leadership. Whatever your next chapter looks like, this is a structured, supported way to pursue it with clarity and confidence.

01
The contractor going permanent
You have built significant breadth of experience across organisations and sectors. Now you want to move into a permanent senior management role — and you want structured support developing the leadership identity, presence and narrative that will make that transition compelling.
“I have the experience. I need help translating it into a leadership story that lands.”
02
The professional stepping up
You are in a permanent role and ready for the next level — more responsibility, more influence, more leadership. You want to develop deliberately rather than wait to be noticed, and you want a safe space to reflect on who you are as a leader and what you stand for.
“I know I am ready for more. I want to pursue it with intention, not just ambition.”
03
The entrepreneur or founder
You are building or scaling a business and finding that leading people is a very different challenge from the technical or commercial work that got you here. You want support developing your leadership capabilities alongside someone who understands both the evidence base and the real world.
“I can build the business. I want to become the leader my team deserves.”
04
The professional at a crossroads
You are not necessarily looking for a specific role change — you are looking for greater clarity, purpose and direction in your career. You want to understand your values and strengths more deeply and use them as the foundation for decisions about where you go next.
“I want to make my next move from a place of clarity, not just opportunity.”
A different kind of support

Not coaching. Not mentoring.
The best of both.

Standard coaching asks powerful questions and holds space for your own insight. Mentoring shares experience and gives direct guidance. This programme does both — deliberately, transparently and in service of your specific career goals.

The coaching element
Values clarification and leadership identity development
VIA Character Strengths assessment and application
A safe space to reflect honestly on where you are
Goal-setting grounded in your values and strengths
Resilience and psychological flexibility for the journey
The mentoring element
What senior roles actually require from the inside
How to translate your experience into compelling leadership evidence
Direct, honest perspective from someone who has hired at senior level
How hiring decisions are really made — and how to stand out
Sector-specific insight from 20+ years in financial services

Most career coaches have never hired a business analyst, led a project team in a financial services firm or sat in the room where senior management decisions are made. I have — for over 20 years. That experience sits alongside an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology & Coaching Psychology, CAPPC certification and ICF ACC accreditation.

The programme

Ten sessions.
Five months.
One clear direction.

Ten 75-minute sessions over five months, moving through four progressive phases — from building self-awareness and leadership identity, through developing your narrative and readiness, to planning and sustaining the transition ahead.

Sessions are longer than standard coaching to allow space for both the reflective coaching work and the more direct mentoring conversations — and to move between both fluidly within a single session.

What clients say

“What made this different was that Eddie had actually been where I was trying to go. He understood the environment, the pressures and what good looked like from both sides. The coaching gave me clarity about who I am — the mentoring gave me an honest picture of what I was moving toward.”

Senior Business Analyst · Career transition client

Your coach & mentor

I have been on both sides
of the table.

Over more than 20 years in senior leadership across financial services and investment management, I hired and led hundreds of people — business analysts, project managers, consultants, developers. I know exactly what we were looking for at senior level, what separated the candidates who got the role from those who didn’t, and what the first 90 days of a leadership role actually feel like.

That lived experience sits alongside an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology & Coaching Psychology, CAPPC certification and ICF ACC accreditation. In this programme you get both — the evidence-based frameworks of positive psychology coaching and the direct, honest perspective of someone who has navigated the environment you are moving toward.

This programme exists because I have seen too many talented professionals undersell themselves, mistranslate their experience or pursue the wrong next step — not for lack of ability, but for lack of a structured, honest, supportive process. That is what this is for.
